I had a perforated eardrum repaired and cholesteatoma surgery 2 1/2 years ago in NJ. Last week I had revision Tympanoplasty surgery. The little devil grew back. Both of my surgeries were absolutely painless. The 1st surgery was done behind the ear and the 2nd thru the ear canal. As far as I’m concerned, pain is not an issue. You will have the best possible sleep. In a few hours you will get up and walk out the door, and I’m no spring chicken!

use castor oil and massage inner ear a few times a day. it took me like year of this and it's finally getting better. definitely give it a try and spend time massaging your inner ear as it got constricted protecting itself from sound.

Does anyone else out there *_feel_* their tinnitus as well as hear it? It's not constant, but I sometimes feel a sort of fast vibration deep in my brain. I liken it to holding a fly in your hand, the way its buzzing feels -- though the buzzing feeling is quite pronounced, more like a bumble bee in your hand than a fly. It can be absolutely maddening. Great video. Thank you. I suffer from wax build up every year and as soon as beach time comes along, couple with water, I lose my hearing. I would not recommend using soft plugs to help from water getting in as if pushed too deeply into the ear, just pushes the present wax further into the ear canal causing a high percentage of hearing loss.

I just started noticing it recently. I remember my dad had it. Going to need to make a doctor appointment. Sometimes it feels like my ears are plugging up like an elevation change.
